Sore Feet, Full Heart

Saturday my youngest daughter, Debbie, got married! Before the day was half over, my feet were aching from being on them as we got ready, took pictures, etc. However, despite the sore feet and exhaustion at the end of the day, my heart was full!!

All eight of our kids were here for the wedding, as well as my five precious grandchildren.  They started arriving from various states on Wednesday, and all were finally here by Friday night. After the wedding we all came back to the house and enjoyed a delicious meal my husband had prepared for everyone. All eight of the kids haven’t been here at the same time for several years, so this has been so special to me. My heart is full right now, and I feel so blessed as a mom.

The wedding was beautiful, and surprisingly it went without any thing going wrong! It was so fun to watch Kaleb and Debbie together.  There is something so special about a couple getting married when they have waited and kept themselves pure. There is  a sweet spirit that you can sense, and it makes the wedding even more  special.

My son Dan, sang When You Say You Love Me”  for the wedding, and did an awesome job and made me cry. (Click on the song title to see the video of him singing.)
