Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be give him.
What are good Bible verses for encouragement? These are some of my favorites from my journey!
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Bible Verses for the Homeschool Mom
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Hi Kelly! Thanks for your encouraging words — glad you liked the post And thanks for pointing out the error as well! 🙂
I love this post, thank you for creating it! The verse you have labeled James 1:5, “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” actually comes from Proverbs 24: 3&4. Although, James 1:5 is super relevant too, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” My guess is you meant to post both and they just got combined together, that’s what would happen to me anyway!
Fantastic post! I truly love it!
