I do understand that unfortunately, there seems to be a stigma about depression. Often we are ashamed to tell anyone about it or talk about it. However, there are different causes for depression, and it’s possible you may find yourself dealing with it at one time or another in your life.
That does not make you a bad Christian. Depression is not something to be ashamed of.
Please don’t just assume that you are a failure, or a bad person, or Christian because you get depressed. Rather than dwelling on the feelings of depression, and giving in to them hopelessly, refer back to these encouraging Scriptures to fight back!
