Do you struggle with a child who is difficult and challenging?
When I say “difficult child”, I am talking about the one who causes you exasperation and frustration. This child takes more time, energy, and discipline than all your other children put together! He is different from your other children, and what works for the others doesn’t work for him.
When I speak on this topic, I ask parents to give me one word describing their difficult child. These are some of the most common words I hear:
- stubborn
- angry
- prickly
- proud
- sensitive
- busy
- annoying
The difficult child is usually called by their FULL name, and rarely in a quiet tone.
In this 39 page book, I’ll share with you my personal experiences with my own difficult children, and how we overcame the obstacles.
Each child is so different, so being aware of their needs and recognizing patterns in their behavior is key. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train up a child in the way he (not his brother or sister) should go. Each of our children are different, and we train them accordingly.
How To Handle Difficult Behavior
