Being a great mom is something I think we ALL desire. Over 36 years of parenting our 8 kids, that desired prompted me to learn everything that I could in order to do my best as a mother.

I read lots and lots of parenting books, and I talked to godly women who had raised good kids, and were great moms. My goal was not to just be a mediocre mom, but a great mom.
